POETIC ARTIST GARDEN
A man who loved to plant trees and make ponds
And a poetic painter who loved to be in Nature
Together they made Art Sanctuary's 'Enchanted Garden';
A large and natural beautiful garden (1,3ha);
An ‘avenue’ of 100 cherry trees ran throughout the garden –
A forest, with secret rooms and chambers, lots of ponds and waterways –
And finally; a most romantic Labyrinth,
where you could lose your way amongst the bushes and trees, all flowering at different times…
Their focus was to keep all ‘as natural as possible’;
encouraging indigenous plants and flowers to find their own chosen places –
one year here … next year there….!

In 2011 they decided to open the gates to the public;
A celebration of Art and Nature in Dialogue!
